Knoxville Medical Mission is a team of volunteer surgical partners who travel to Antiqua, Guatemala annually to provide life-saving and life-changing medical care to the adults and children in this impoverished area. Our mission team performs nearly 200 surgeries and 500 clinic visits during our two-week stay. We treat children with club feet and hip dislocation. We treat adults with total knee and shoulder arthroscopies, fractured bone repair, and numerous other surgical, gynecological and urologic procedures. Our mission is solely supported by donations. Our team of doctors, nurses, scrub techs and interpreters donate their time and also, pay their travel expenses. Your donations help provide surgical equipment, gloves, drugs, surgical implants, dressings, IV fluids, and braces.
